- Since 1831 LaGrange College has been challenging students' minds, inspiring their souls--and transforming lives. A private four-year liberal arts and sciences college affiliated with the United Methodist Church, LaGrange offers 38 academic and pre-professional programs, including graduate degrees in education. A low student-faculty ratio of 11-to-1 provides a personal educational experience featuring hands-on learning through a rigorous, integrated curriculum and opportunities for service. Located one hour southwest of Atlanta, the campus covers more than 120 acres and includes the latest "wired" classrooms and prime performance and athletic facilities. More than 1,000 students call it home.
