Hometown Realtors is a locally owned, independent real estate agency that has provided professional buying and selling services in the Bloomington community and the surrounding area for nearly 20 years. They are an active member of the Bloomington Board of Realtors as well as a participant of the Bloomington Multiple Listing Service.
Hometown Realtors, over the years, has evolved into a multi-faceted company. When the doors opened in 1989, Hometown Realtors merged with the existing Spicer`s Rentals, a thriving home rental company, which started in 1983. In August of 1990, the newly combined companies, moved into Winslow Plaza and set into motion, a plan for more rounded servicing to its clients.
Hometown Realtors has now come full circle. In 2005, with moving into the Southcourt Building and with the exciting addition of the Iron Gate Farms subdivision, the company is realizing its goal set back in 1990. In 2005, Kevin Spicer, a broker/owner of Hometown Realtors, first broke ground on the new development. In 2006, construction of the first spec home began. With having the first home sold, construction is underway for future homes in Iron Gate Farms.
Hometown Realtors currently offers its clients buying and selling of residential and commercial properties, residential and commercial rentals, and residential home building in the Iron Gate Farms subdivision.
Because Hometown Realtors is deeply rooted in Bloomington, our motto holds true. “There`s no place like home....” and we do everything we can to make our clients feel right at “HOME”.
