Joe's Place, a member of the The Marina Association of Texas is a hill country, lake-front facility that offers water slips, 2 boat ramps, fishing, picnic area, camp grounds, full hookup RV park, cabin rental, lake beach, swimming, party rental facility and boat rentals. The facility continues under family operation with on-site managers caring for the facility, tenants and customers. Each season has seen continued improvements to make the facility a family-friendly, well-groomed, safe, convenient location for families and organizations to enjoy Medina Lake.
Joe Granieri was the original owner and founder of the a fishing camp, in 1916. In 1979, Lackland AFB leased the facility as a military recreation area for troops and their families to enjoy picnics, camping, fishing and boating at a reasonable cost, easy access, and a safe location. Now we offer this to family that want to enjoy Medina lake fishing and resort. Our facility is big enough for wedding, birthday parties, anniversary parties.
Come experience the relaxation of our lake resort where you can have rentals, cabin rentals and RV rentals. This facility can be enjoyed by the whole family. Medina Lake is a reservoir to the Texas Hill Country.
Medina was Damned in 1913 and located Northwest from San Antonio. The lake it self is 18 miles long, 3 miles wide at the widest point. The lake is create for any water activity and perfect for camping.
