After graduating from Harvard Law School, Jan Weinberg was admitted to the Hawaii Bar in 1974. He represented insurance companies in personal injury cases before deciding to represent only injured persons. He was a law firm partner with David Schutter, then a prominent Honolulu lawyer.
Jan Weinberg opened his law offices in 1978. His firm rapidly became recognized as one of the top personal injury law firms in Hawaii.
