We did not like the administration support given to us. 1st I had to get past many to let us review the chart 2nd a.Nurse and us had a definite conflict with his attitude at 8 am. Our complaint was heard and change of nurse was the recommendation. Never happened. We coped with the attitude nurse for three additional days. 3 rd this behavior transmitted to the nursing aid. 4th as needed medication was not administered after request. 4th discharge was written at 8PM. I had my husband .dresses at 7am for a reasonable D.C. At 8am. I paged the charge nurse who told me..yes in just I minute. I paged again 20min later..i got a response that my husbands DC was complicated and will take some time? This was almost 3 hrs after first request of Discharge. 20 min later I went to the front desk..9:05..now the the charge nurse tells that the discharge nurse does not come to work until 9am. We were told that we had to wait for D.C. Teaching and could not leave. I requested our Rx pain medication that was left on the chart with information on were to obtain a brace..this was denied. At that time w left with the Charge nurse giving us an attitude that the hospital will not provide us with a discharge even though the Dr had written all instruction. My husband had severe pain and had to move about without a brace. From 8pm until 9:30 is to long to wat for a DC. The only person available for D.C. Works from8 to 5.
