A wildlife lodge specializing in high-end, environmentally responsible tourism in Gal Oya National Park, eastern Sri Lanka.
We are situated on the northern boundary of Gal Oya National Park. Specializing in high-end sustainable tourism, the Lodge is constructed from natural materials that have all been locally sourced. The central Lodge and restaurant bar, pool area and nine teak bungalows are spread across 20 acres of private forest, making it the ideal place to relax and get back to nature.
The spacious bungalows with stunning high thatched roofs have uninterrupted views over the adjoining jungle, wilderness hills, and granite cliffs. Enjoy safaris exploring the National Park, which is famous for its large herds of wild elephants, which can be seen swimming between the islands in the lake, rich birdlife, and rare medicinal plants collected by ancient royalty.
If you feel like jungle drives, boat and canoe trips, naturalist walks, or just relaxing on your verandah or by the Lodge pool, there is something for everyone!
