Fibre Foam is a thermobonded product that is produced in our Airlay Oven. There are various blends we have developed based upon our customer’s particular application. Fibre Foam components consist of various percentages of cotton, polyester, polyurethane foam and polyester and low melt fibers. The cotton gives the futon the soft and comfortable feel. Meanwhile, the polyurethane foam and polyester gives a bounce that all your customers are looking for when they buy a futon. The low melt fiber is the bonding material helping keep the cotton, polyurethane foam, and polyester fibers fused together. Using specific formulas, we are able to provide uniformity to the Fibre Foam along with the strength to withstand today’s harsh conditions of everyday customer use.
