The tradition of Ezell’s Catfish cabin started in the 1930’s with a restaurant on the Tombigbee River in Alabama. The tradition continued with the founding of the Columbus, GA restaurant in 1982 and the Phenix City, AL restaurant in 2011. In the 35+ years since its opening, the Columbus restaurant has become a landmark with its reputation for quality, fresh southern comfort food served in a casual atmosphere with exceptional service. The Phenix city restaurant maintains that tradition and to this day is the only family operated full service restaurant in Phenix City. The attention to detail and quality required by current owners Clark and Collier Ezell has resulted in numerous awards and recognition from noted rating agencies such as AAA, tripadvisor, and the Columbus Ledger-Enquirer as best in its class. In addition to being full service sit down restaurants, take out, catering and parties are an integral part of our operations.
