Our office is locally owned by an eye care professional that is certified by the American Board of Ophthalmology along with 15 years of experience. We are happy to put our knowledge and experience to good use by offering you the best vision care plan available for you.
Dr. Alla Hynes is a board certified Ophthalmologist with a specialty for caring and treating a wide variety of eye diseases including cataract, glaucoma and uveitis. She has been practicing ophthalmology for 15 years and has been recognized by Consumers’ Research Council of America as one of the Best Ophthalmologists in 2010 and 2011.
For the past five years, she has served as George Washington University’s Director and Assistant Professor in Ocular Immunology and Uveitis as well as their Chief of Ophthalmology Department of Veteran’s Administration, in Martinsburg, WV.
She has authored and co-authored several professional article publications and is also a certified Trabectom Surgeon, which is a new surgical technique for minimally invasive glaucoma surgery.
Dr. Hynes chose Ophthalmology as her career because she considers the gift of sight to be the most precious and rewarding of our senses to experience the world around us.
