Since 1831, ESS has worked with people in need from all walks of life: unwed mothers, orphans, the homeless, foster children, the developmentally disabled, the elderly, the unskilled unemployed, high-school drop-outs, HIV/AIDS patients, prison inmates and ex-offenders, and the generally impoverished.
