- Arrive Early! Ticket windows are open by 8:30am Ticket offices are located at Castle Clinton National Monument in Battery Park, New York City and inside the Railroad Terminal in Liberty State Park, Jersey City.The ticket offices are open from one-half of an hour before the first sailing until the last sailing every day (except Christmas). There are no reservations; boarding is on a first-come, first-served basis. Tickets can be purchased for same day or future travel from the ticket offices using cash, check, credit card, traveler's cheque, money order and school/company checks. - Ferry Fee: Adults (ages 13 years & older): $12.00 Senior Citizens (ages 62 & over): $10.00 Children (ages 4 through 12): $5.00 Infants 3 and under: Free Note: These rates are the price for the round trip ferry ride to the island. The ferry ticket includes entrance to Ellis Island. National Park Service passes DO NOT cover the price of the ferry ticket.
