While pregnancy and birth are normal events in life, no one realizes more than us, how much support and encouragement is required during the child bearing years! We are ‘Edenway Birth Center’ - a licensed, free-standing birth center, located in Cleburne, Texas. Our team of experienced, friendly and highly capable midwives provides you with an alternative to hospital births. Using our specialized ‘Midwives Model of Care™’ model, proven to reduce incidents of birth injury, trauma, and cesarean sections - we can make ‘home births’ a reality for you! We specialize in ‘water births’ and have a fully equipped ‘birth suite’ at our Birth Centre. For us, midwifery is our mission and we serve women from different walks of life. Our midwifery services will help create, a beautiful and nurturing environment around you; and ensure your physical, psychological and social well-being, throughout the phase of your pregnancy. We offer you: individualized education, counseling and prenatal care; continuous hands-on assistance during labor and delivery; and postpartum support. We will do our best to minimize technological intervention, and only when necessary will refer you to an obstetrician or physician. Additionally, to make your journey into motherhood easier, our wide network of chiropractors, childbirth educators, massage therapists, and other health care providers, will be available on call.
