Dr. Carlos Alvarez has more than 20 years of surgical experience including serving as faculty with the University of Maryland in Baltimore. He was Assistant Professor of Surgery at the New Jersey Medical School, where he conducted specialized research on the pancreas. Prior to joining Doylestown Hospital in 2014, he was in private practice in New Jersey at Robert Wood Johnson University Hospital and at Morristown Memorial Hospital.
