Diana’s Tailor Shop is a success story of an Immigrant Entrepreneur Journey. This journey started with Mr. and Mrs. Eric & Diana Khenkin opening Diana’s Tailor 30 years ago. It is with great pride they state that many businesses have come and gone in the last 30 years while Diana’s Tailor has stayed in the same location for the last 30 years. When Eric and Diana arrived in the US 30 years ago, they were limited in what opportunities they could avail due to limited English language skills. However, there was one thing she was really good at and that was sewing clothes. So what started more of necessity 30 years ago, proved to be a lifetime career for her. As she improved her English language skills over time, she grew her business as well. She was one woman army when she started but today she has a team of 5 helping her and the fact that all of her team members have been with her for more than 15 years shows what a great place it is to work at and what a great leader she has proved to be for her organization.
