Davis Island Law, Bruce Helmich and Jeffery A. Blau WORST LAWYERS EVER! Where do I start? My fiancé hired them for her divorce, and it has been over 2 years and they still have not accomplished anything. The Ex-Husband has sold his business, hid his money, sold his cars, lied in court over and over, and abused the child with absolutely no consequences. At one point my fiancé called Bruce Hemich and told him that he better do something about the Ex-Husband selling the business when he was told he’s not aloud, and he said “you don’t have enough money to make a big deal of anything!” Note: I have told them I will pay for them to actually do their job! And that’s on top of the huge chunk they got in the beginning.
The Ex-Husband is an immigrant from Germany, and has told his whole family that he is only using the child to stay in the country. He has Illegally brought his parents into the country. He forged his Ex-wifes signature on a tax return that is lying about 60 thousand in donations. How is this man still mentally abusing my family, and making a joke of our system, when we have hired these lawyers?
At times I even believed that they may have been paid off by the other party, because my fiancé has followed all of the lawyers instructions, and has been screwed over and over. The Ex-Husband had won over a million dollars about 3 years ago, and now the best the lawyers could get him to give her is 40k, and she had to sign her part of there house over to him. But wait, he never paid and followed the contract he signed. So Bruce called and said the best they can do is have him pay a thousand a month for a while, and I’m sure he wont follow threw on that. Why would he? He has gotten away with everything he has done!
At one point the Ex-Husband had gotten the child to tell DCF that I had beat him, which is untrue. I had police and DCF tearing my life apart, and had to go take a polygraph test $600 out of my pocket to clear myself. And still nothing came back on him. Our life has been made a living hell by this man for 2 years, and the lawyers have given us no hope, no relief, and no results.
The Ex-Husband is a raging alcoholic with violent tendencies. He has been banned from his own and all of his family restaurants. The child came back from his house and told us that he had an accident in the house. And the Ex-Husband had his girlfriend clean it up, then he put it on the childs face. I called DCF, but of course he denied it. Why doesn’t he have to take a polygraph like I had to, I even told the lawyers that I would pay.
Now we have received a letter from the florida bar and that Jeffery A Blau is no longer aloud to practice law! I am not surprised; I can only imagine what finally got him caught. As for Bruce Helmich, you can Google him, he has a record also. Better you find out now then after you hire him like us.
I may be taking a risk exposing these useless lawyers, but I do not wish the stress, aggravation, and rip-off on anyone. Honestly you should probably go with the Ex-Husbands lawyer (Ingrid Hooglander). She may be a lying bitch, but she really does try, she puts her work in, gets results, and has protected him when he has not deserved it.
