- Airport Overview
- The 2001 recession and events of 9/11 greatly reduced the demand for air travel, especially within the business traveler market. As a result, most of the airlines providing long haul 56-passenger flights stopped service and pulled out of Love Field. By 2003, Southwest and Continental Express were the only two major commercial airlines operating out of Love Field. The airport has completed an expansion of its parking facilities and is redeveloping one of its terminals. Love Field celebrated 85 years in the aviation industry in 2002 and was designated as a Texas State Historical Site in 2003. The Frontiers of Flight Museum was opened at the north side of the airport after having previously operated a small museum inside the airline terminal.
- Business Facilities
- Conference Room A and the Multipurpose Conference Facility available. Conference Room A is located in the Main Terminal on the 2nd level. It seats a maximum of 40 in theater style and maximum of 20 board room style with additional seating. This conference room rents for $65.00 per hour with a minimum of 2 hours. Daily rate is $250.00. Dallas Love Field Multipurpose Conference Center is a spacious 7, 160 square feet, Seats 200, Low room rate, low parking rates, functional lighting, onsite catering, with a spectacular view of airport. - Parking information call (214) 670-PARK or Parking Company of America at 214-350-4881. As you get within a 3-5 mile range of the airport, you may also tune your radio to Love Radio 1580 AM for the latest parking availability. TollTag to pay for parking at Dallas Love Field may be used. Readers are located at all entry lanes and through designated exit lanes, TollTag account is automatically charged for the correct parking fee. ADA accessible parking spaces are located on each level of the parking garage with proper identification and the display of a handicap license plate or rearview mirror placard. Parking Reservations

- Passenger pickup and drop-off carts are provided by all airlines. Airline passengers should notify their travel agent, ticketing agent, flight attendant or gate agent when carts, wheelchairs or medical transportation is needed. There are two sets of elevators located between the main lobby and baggage claim. All restrooms at Love Field are ADA accessible. One children's/unisex restroom is located on the West Concourse across from Gate 2. Hearing impaired telephones (TTY) are located in the Terminal Lobby and Baggage Claim.
