Church of the Redeemer is a traditional Anglican church in downtown Sarasota. Founded in 1885, and in current location since 1950, this beautiful church has over 2,600 full-time members plus receives many seasonal visitors. Constructed in traditional cruciform style with an elaborate icon above the high altar, many amazing stained glass windows, historical oil paintings and art, and bell tower with bells made in Passau Germany. Everyone is welcome to stop by for a quiet time to pray, to participate in worship, or to tour the church and the church grounds.
