Christus St. Vincent Health System comprises a regional medical center and hospital and over 40 specialty clinics in and around Santa Fe, New Mexico. Located in Santa Fe, the 200-bed hospital operates under a 50/50 partnership with CHRISTUS Health and Anchorum St. Vincent (formerly SVHSuppport). CHRISTUS St. Vincent is a compre-hensive acute care hospital serving a seven-county area with a population of nearly 300,000.
Each year, more than 13,000 patients are admitted to the hospital, and more than 200,000 outpa-tient hospital encounters (includes physician practices) occur at CHRISTUS St. Vincent. More ba-bies are born in birthing suites at CHRISTUS St. Vincent than anywhere else in Northern New Mexico, with nearly 1,300 newborns delivered at our hospital each year. Our birthing program provides 11 labor-delivery-recovery postpartum (LDRP) suites.
More than 8,900 surgical procedures are performed each year at CHRISTUS St. Vincent. Experi-encing more than 52,000 patient visits every year, CHRISTUS St. Vincent Regional Medical Center has the second busiest emergency department in New Mexico. As one of only three trauma cen-ters in the state, the ED provides high-level, quality, compassionate care in a wide range of spe-cialties.
The excellence of the care is attested by the recent award of four stars by the Centers for Disease Control, and by its selection by Mayo Clinic for partnership.
