Boca Botanas offers a unique blend of Latin American food presented in a Spanish Tapas format. Boca Botanas was founded in 2016 by Michael Alexander out of a passion for creative cuisine and welcoming hospitality. We are happy to serve our guests with an amazing eating experience, which locals refer to as "the hidden jewel of Gaithersburg." We offer happy hour from 4-7pm Tuesday through Friday, dinner daily from 4pm to 10pm, and brunch later this spring!
Our cuisine is inspired by several traditional favorites from Central America, South America, and Spain, from Peruvian ceviche to Colombian empanadas. Our dishes are meant to be shared and enjoyed with good company, and are served in the Spanish small plate manner.
Our sauces and sides are created from scratch daily using fresh, locally sourced ingredients. Pair your tapas with a bottle of Spanish wine or one of our highlighted cocktails, which are crafted with fresh ingredients and custom mixes. We are a family restaurant that serve foods & drinks as per choice of family or friends.
