To ensure this publication remains free from corporate control and influence, we will incorporate stories and viewpoints directly from residents and businesses. The site will include written stories and video content about New Orleans by those who directly experience it. Because corporate run publications tailor content about New Orleans that is not shared through the lens of those who actually live here, they consequently tend to neglect the audience and instead present information that is not rich in authenticity. We, however, strive to empower the people by giving them a voice and, in turn, using our publication as a platform to create meaningful change. To ensure transparency and inform our audience about the direction we are going, we will maintain communication with our viewers through social media.
