I have had a passion for clinical social work, psychotherapy and Jungian analysis for most of my adult life. The following is a story of my beginning my path to becoming a Jungian analyst. In 1971, I worked the graveyard shift at a Shell station in Santa Clara, California. Still, I needed a small internship for a sociology class I was taking at a local college.
