I came across the Asheford Institute by accident when doing some research for a tag (or estate sale, as you say in America). Even though they are an antique and appraising school, I took their course because it also includes teaching about tag sales. I'm just finishing the first study plan of their new online version of the program, and I'm quite impressed. I enrolled just as they were launching the new online course in the UK, so I could still choose to take either the books or the CD version of the course, but the lady I spoke to at the school said the newest format of the course on the Internet contained far more information and was probably almost twice the size of the original, so that sold me. I can't really compare it to the books or CD version (as the post above mentions), but I can say the online course is chockablock full of information, pictures, videos, and links, so it's probably going to keep me busy for quite a while. Thus far, I think this is an absolutely great program, though I'm not sure the online version is available in North America just yet, since I was told it was only being offered to international students for the time being. Either way, I'm very satisfied with my purchase thus far.
