- Mission
- You are more than a test score. You are more than a number. You are more...and all of us at AJU know it! At AJU, you will embark upon a journey that will take you beyond the typical college experience. You will be given unparalleled opportunities to blossom into inspired and accomplished individuals. You will receive the kind of close, customized attention that is rare in most universities. You will grow into the person that you have always aspired to be, all within a contemporary, community-oriented Jewish environment. What is more, AJU is not a religious institution, it is a Jewish one! We believe in learning as an intellectual and inspirational endeavor, one that can and should be pursued by individuals from all walks of life. 95% of our student population is Jewish, and our students come from a variety of backgrounds - Reform, Conservative, Modern Orthodox, Secular, etc. At the end of the day, what all of our students share is this: they connect with the warm, unique, caring environment at AJU. Our Jewish roots ground us; our openness defines us.
