Ambient Building Products® is a building material supply company that believes in providing premium, eco-friendly products at an affordable price. Our mission began in 2005, when we became one of the world’s first companies to specialize in strand woven bamboo flooring. Unlike most other hardwood floors, bamboo floors are exceptionally resistant to damage because of their hardness while still maintaining an unmatched look and feel. Bamboo trees also regenerate on their own after being cut down, do not require large quantities of pesticides or herbicides, and mature in only 5-7 years. All of this makes bamboo significantly more sustainable than woods used in other hardwood floors.
Since 2005, we have branched out beyond bamboo and flooring. We now carry several other types of building materials, including plywood, paneling, floor moldings and trim. And, while we still love bamboo, we have also incorporated eucalyptus wood into products as well as synthetics such as vinyl and magnesium oxide MagPanel® boards. Despite the changes, we haven’t veered away from our mission. All of our products are environmentally friendly, durable and affordable. Our more than 10,000 residential and commercial customers also still remain top of mind in all of our decisions, which is why we’ve received an A+ rating every year from the Better Business Bureau and have been recognized as one of the fastest growing businesses in the United States.
