Altered Carbon is an ethical preservation dog breeder of Black Russian Terriers focussed on using the considerable power all breeders have to ensure our puppies are healthy and a joy to own.

4. The in-house green dog program has highly qualified positive reinforcement trainers that understand dog behaviour and skilfully build the dog’s confidence so it is overjoyed to work.

In addition, we get their toilet training off to a great start and our puppies are chew toy conditioned, crate conditioned, they will be taken on field trips and raised using the puppy culture program.
As part of the all-important socialization, we also take care to create positive grooming experiences for the puppy and help them enjoy standing on the grooming table to be brushed, they will have had their first puppy haircut and have had multiple positive encounters with hair dryers, nail clippers/grinders and bath time.
And to prevent future injury and pain, our puppies’ front and rear dewclaws are removed when they are very small.
We support our owners throughout the life of their dog. Most importantly, we provide guidance to get their crucial early puppyhood period right, setting a strong foundation for a well-balanced, happy dog for you throughout its life.
