The ALS Association Jim Catfish Hunter Chapter helps people with ALS and motor neuron diseases in North Carolina by funding cutting edge ALS research and world class patient support programs. Our mission is is to lead the fight to cure and treat ALS through global cutting-edge research, and to empower people with Lou Gehrig’s disease and their families to live fuller lives by providing them with compassionate care and support. Our goal is to serve all people living with ALS in North Carolina. We support everyone with ALS & PLS in NC through our ALS programs, ALS support groups and ALS clinics and ALS centers. Whether you live in the NC mountains, Charlotte area, Piedmont Triad, Triangle, Sandhills, DownEast or the Coastal Carolina area, we are here to help you! We work extremely hard to raise awareness and the necessary funding to finance our many services and our world class ALS research program. In the words of our dear friend Mark Reiman, "Nothing less, cure ALS!"
