- Located on a beautiful 170 acre wooded hilltop overlooking the historic town of Philippi, West Virginia, Alderson-Broaddus College is a church-related professional education and liberal arts institution with a regionally renowned program leading to the Bachelor of Science in Nursing. The programs in Applied Music, and Music Education have led to the recognition of the College as a Yamaha School of Music Excellence. All science labs feature state-of-the-art technologies, while the college is currently expanding its music facilities. Modern computer labs, computer access in each residence hall room, Wireless throughout the entire campus, and the state's only small college cadaver lab make AB an attractive place in which to live and learn. Students compete in eleven men's and women's sports at the NCAA Division II level. Alderson-Broaddus College is affiliated with the West Virginia Baptist Convention and the American Baptist Churches, USA.
