AdCare Rhode Island is the best alcohol and drug addiction treatment center in Rhode Island and beyond. Our facility was founded in 1975 in New England as an acute care hospital with a ten-bed alcoholism unit. In 1984, we recognized the need for alcohol and drug treatment was on the rise so we converted our general medical facility into a full-service alcohol and drug treatment hospital. In 2015, we opened our current inpatient facility in peaceful North Kingstown, in Rhode Island.
Our inpatient rehabilitation offers many services to our clients, including medical detoxification, crisis stabilization unit, rehabilitation and residential program, and inpatient family services. We prepare a tailor-made treatment plan for each patient and amongst various therapies and treatments, we are proud to offer proven addiction therapies, one-on-one counseling, co-occurring mental health disorder treatment, veterans services, trauma-based therapies, and LGBTQ+ support.
