A Forever Home Animal Rescue is a non-profit 501c striving to save as many innocent pets as possible from what has been termed “Death Row” at our local area shelters.
With so many dogs and cats being abandoned by families who have fallen upon hard times during this economic downturn, our wonderful life saving shelters have been overwhelmed. They can only do so much. That's where we we come in and we need your help.
Did you know that once the shelters are full and have pets whose lives are scheduled to be terminated, our shelters make every attempt to have the animal rescued?
Fortunately, the shelter will send mass email campaigns to all the local rescue people (like us) asking us to save the pet before its final day of life. Some are rescued. But, unfortunately, there are countless others that are not.
Again, this is where we need your help! It won't cost you anything to be added to our Foster Family Brigade. We'll supply the pet food; we'll supply the flea treatments, and we'll cover any necessary medical expenses. You supply the home & the love for these terrified, innocent animals.
Often, we find older dogs and cats who's owner may have passed away leaving them with nobody to care for them and all they need is your help. Won't you please help us today?
You'll also find house pets who have been lost from their families and you can just tell they are waiting...longing to be reunited with their families that they miss so much.
Just imagine, being separated from your family with no place to go, wandering the streets hopelessly, having to fend for your self with no experience doing so; missing your family, learning about loud trucks and busy highways, and just wandering around terrified and not knowing what to do or where to go. The lucky ones are picked up by the local animal services. But even then it must seem to them they have been placed in a loud scary prison--stuck between 2 walls and caged with several other lost or abandoned animals, all the while not knowing why. Thats a riches to rags story if there ever was one.
These innocent, loving creatures really need our help and we really need your help.
We are in need of families looking to adopt a pet, towels, sheets, linens, pet food, foster parents, and Donations.
We have many wonderful dogs and cats just waiting for your help.
If you know of anybody looking to buy a dog from a breeder, won't you please send them to our website address and ask them to consider adopting a dog or a cat, puppy or a kitten or even a bird. There are so many pets that would be so happy to call your home their Forever Home, that can bring you many years of love and unconditional friendship.
If you are a current pet owner just try to picture your little one wandering the streets, lost, scared and alone or in a cage just waiting & waiting for you to come rescue them...waiting for anyone to come and give them the love they so desperately need and so freely offer us. Often they give up hope and you really can see the sadness & fear in their eyes. This is what they experience. Some of the pets get it and some just don't. Now that you get it, we ask you – would it be too much to take in one more pet?
Some get reunited with their families but sadly most do not. Many get adopted out at the shelters or sent to us rescue people but ..... TOO MANY DO NOT! :(
