I am so pleased with the quality and exactness of this reproduction. I chose one of the Van Gogh self portraits that I had seen in person in Amsterdam. I was a bit worried and hoping that the complicated brush strokes could be captured Without a doubt the artist was amazing and totally nailed it!!!! I am so pleased with this product. I especially was happy that I was sent photos of the preliminary final and was allowed to tweak one very small detail in the painting to my satisfaction. I will no doubt be using 1st Art Gallery again in the future. They are truly the gold-standard I was looking for.

I am a lover of European art and I particularly enjoy the work of the French Impressionist such as Claude Monet. I recently had 1st Art Gallery create a reproduction of Monet's "The Poppy Field Near Giverny". It is a wonderful and faithful reproduction of the original. This painting is interesting to me because as you look at the painting it is divided approximately into thirds which is sub consciously appealing to the viewer. Each third is painted differently. The bottom third with the poppies is painted with delicate and more detailed small marks. The village is painted with small swirling marks and is less detailed. The sky is painted in long, loose diagonal lines and is not very detailed at all. I think the painter did a very good job of re-creating this appealing image and I find myself drawn into it. A very appealing and idyllic day in the French countryside. I am very well pleased with this painting. This is my second Monet reproduction and I will be ordering many more Monet reproductions as well as from other prominent Impressionist artists. As is obvious in the photos, I have provided a quality frame job that works well with the painting and really brings out the color and life of the painting. This painting hangs in a prominent area in my master bedroom. I hope this review is helpful. Best Regards.

Once you make your choice, 1st art gallery assigns an artist to paint your reproduction.They provided the piece in the time frame given. What was really excellent was the communication. Once my piece was completed, they contacted me with a photo of the finished product to ensure that I was happy with the painting before framing and shipping.They were also very accommodating. I was worried that the delivery would come while I was away from home traveling, so they adjusted my delivery location.

I wanted to have a painting of India’s best known modern artist MF Hussain for a long time and I could not afford to buy one original. Then I stumbled upon 1st art Gallery while surfing the internet. I requested them to reproduce his “Gopala" and I was extremely happy that I did. The delivery was prompt and communication at all stages was very good. The painting itself is very good quality and I am amazed that they actually reproduce the finest details. The main advantage of ordering with them is that you can have the exact size that may fit on the wall of your choice and you can choose the painting that matches the colour scheme of your room. They did not have this particular painting on their website and I sent them a picture and they did a fantastic job. This painting has really livened up my TV room. I will definitely order more from them and I would highly recommend their work for anyone who wants reproductions.

I wanted to buy a reproduction of this Klimt painting and read up on multiple companies who provided this service. The reviews generally led me in the direction of 1st Art Gallery as being a good quality painting. I was still a little hesitant as it was my first time buying from them but after getting the painting I was in awe at how fantastic it looked. The painting quality exceeded every expectation I had. I've only had it on my wall for about 2 weeks but I still find myself walking in to the room and staring at the painting thinking how amazing it is and suddenly 20 minutes has gone by and I'm still staring at it. 1st Art Gallery just completed our 10th painting and as usual it was an excellent copy of an old master artwork titled: “The Battle of Mars and Minerva.” Once again from start to finish you couldn't ask for a smoother transaction. We are already considering ordering our 11th painting…. Highly recommend First Art Gallery! We requested some special cropping on this one. The original painting was a rectangular landscape style, but we needed it to be square in order to fit a frame we already had and to match a similar time-period painting. In the remarks section of the order form we noted the dimensions we needed and told them what they could crop out. In addition, I cropped their website photo to make it square, attached it to an email and sent it to them along with our order number and instructions. They did a perfect job of cropping it into a square painting. If you decide to give them a try you won't be disappointed. You can preview the painting before they ship it. Just add a note in the comments section during the checkout process requesting that they send you a photo of the completed painting before they ship it. We've done that with each of the 10 paintings we ordered. They sent us a photo of the finished painting to approve before they shipped it. After I approved it, the painting arrived about a week or so later. Doesn't get any better than that! I’ve tried ordering paintings from artists selling on two major online auction sites, one in the U.S. and one in China. I wound up having to donate them – total junk… If you want an oil painting, use 1st Art Gallery, you won’t be disappointed.

This is to let you know how pleased I am with my Charles Rennie Mackintosh painting "The Wassail". I initially contacted another firm that advertised this painting as one of their offerings; however, several weeks after submitting my order I was informed that they could not reproduce this particular painting. Because of this initial experience I was skeptical that 1st Art Gallery could do an acceptable job. My expectations were a bit on the low side but when my painting arrived two days ago, I was delighted with the work. It was well worth the money spent and so much better than a print. I was dubious about commissioning a painting but it was so worthwhile. I got a beautiful copy of an original that is delightful to look at.I was kept informed how the painting was progressing and was sent photos of it when it was finished. They asked for my comments and were willing to correct anything that I was not happy with (which was only a minor detail).The painting arrived in good time once it was finished and was extremely well packed. If you are hesitating, I advise you to go ahead. Their standards are very high and you will not be disappointed.

The first was from another company that advertised to do paintings but to be honest, it was terrible. Cheaper yes, but truly awful. It was not a copy but an artist who interpreted John Constable's work . I then considered a photo print copy that turned out to be just as bad. I finally bit the bullet for a few dollars more and went back to First Art Gallery. I couldn't be more pleased. Thank you, thank you, thank you I can now hang this wonderful painting in my home.

I have spent hours looking at my beautiful painting of this historical scene. The artist captured so beautifully the faces of the people, all gazing with adoration at their heroine. The artist also depicted superbly the medieval houses of Orleans. Most critically, the artist captured perfectly the bravery and determination of the young saint. When I saw her face, I was moved to tears.

Today I received my copy of a painting of Admiral Lord Nelson painted by Francis Lemuel Abbot. I have to admit I didn't expect much. I needn't have worried - It's superb. If I have read the signature correctly it was painted by D. Nasson, please thank him/her for me. It's a great job and I'm really pleased with It. Many thanks.

I am delighted with this artist’s rendering of the surrender of Paderborn to Charlemagne. The artist has depicted perfectly all the details, thereby evoking the powerful drama of the occasion. This artist is a master of texture as well; the painting looks as though it was painted in the 19th Century! I am so delighted with this wonderful painting; it will be treasured by my family for generations.

Once my piece was completed, they contacted me with a photo of the finished product to ensure that I was happy with the painting before framing and shipping.They were also very accommodating. I was worried that the delivery would come while I was away from home traveling, so they adjusted my delivery location.

I was dubious about commissioning a painting but it was so worthwhile. I got a beautiful copy of an original that is delightful to look at.I was kept informed how the painting was progressing and was sent photos of it when it was finished. They asked for my comments and were willing to correct anything that I was not happy with (which was only a minor detail).The painting arrived in good time once it was finished and was extremely well packed. If you are hesitating, I advise you to go ahead. Their standards are very high and you will not be disappointed.

I took the plunge and ordered a bunch of paintings. Honestly, the quality is incredible. I've walked into countless art galleries and all they sell is prints that come out of some high resolution printer. Nothing is even real. So I was actually a little hesitant at first when I ordered, but glad I did.You can smell the oil paint. It is amazing. And it's real. I've ordered about 8 paintings so far and will be ordering more.

I ordered two pieces, and needed nonstandard, small sizes to fit frames I already had. I offered to pay a higher amount than the offered price to obtain a very high degree of fidelity. They did NOT take the additional money.They sent me very accurate scanned views so that I knew exactly what I was purchasing, before I exchanged any money. The level of fidelity was surprising and very detailed. They were completed in the time promised. The colors were also accurate.I couldn't be happier with the paintings. What else can I say beyond a willingness to buy more from them?

I have just had two pieces completed by 1st art gallery. There was a very minor quality problem that was quickly and very amicably resolved. Communication throughout was great. My pieces with a compendium of an artist's work that were executed exactly to my instructions and verified by frequent photo shots. When the paintings arrived there were of very high quality in both material and execution.Do not hesitate to buy from these folks ... they are a joy to deal with.
