Company description
107 Taste was established by Chef Yu and her husband Dr. Lei. Opening a restaurant has always been Chef Yu’s childhood dream. Chef Yu was raised by her grandparents in a small village in northwestern China. Her grandmother worked as a Chef for more than 20 years, and her grandfather’s family used to own a local famous wonton restaurant in Szechuan, China back in the 1930s. Her entire childhood memories are full of grandparents’ care, and she grew up with unbeatable grandmother’s love meal.
After married with Dr. Lei, the couple decided to work hard together and make Yu’s dream come true, so they started to open the first 107 Taste on February, 2016, in Westchester, FL on 107the Ave (this is how the name “107 Taste” comes from!), right across FIU main campus. Since then, the couple had been working even harder because they want to bring gourmet food to more people in south FL! The second location of 107 Taste was open in March 2019, and the third location will be open at the end of 2019 at Plantation, FL.
The menus at 107 Taste are carefully prepared with unique trendy Asian food and traditional Asian flavors. Since the restaurants open, Chef Yu and Dr. Lei had been traveling to different Asian countries for tasting local Asian cuisine and coming up with new ideas for the recipes. Guest service and satisfaction are their top priority, and the first thing in the company core value is “Be a host!”, simply explaining as “Treating our guests as friends and families!”.
All the 107 Taste locations provide a relaxed atmosphere and best service in town, and they always try their best to give the guests a wonderful and unforgettable experience and memory, “Be cool, Have fun” is their slogan.
